One night, as his parents tucked him into bed, Johan whispered, "Mommy, Daddy, I'm a little scared to sleep alone." "We know, sweetheart," his daddy said, giving him a hug. "But you're not alone. You have Marshall." Johan looked at Marshall, his furry friend lying beside him. "I'm still a little scared," Johan said. "It's okay to be scared," his mommy said, kissing his forehead. "But you're a brave boy, Johan. You can do this." Johan took a deep breath. He closed his eye. He had Marshall by his side As the night got darker, Johan felt a little scared. But then he remembered what his parents said, and he remembered Marshall. He squeezed Marshall's paw and whispered, "We can do this, Marshall. We're brave." And slowly, the fear went away. He felt calm and safe, knowing he wasn't alone. He drifted off to sleep, with Marshall beside him, a promise of safety and love. The next morning, Johan woke up feeling proud of himself. He had slept alone, and he had done it with the help of his best friend, Marshall From that day on, Johan continued to sleep in his own bed.

Page 3: "Like mean words?" Ish asked, thinking about when she called Osh a meanie. "Yes," Jesus nodded, "Our words can hurt more than dirty hands." Page 4: XL explained, "We have to be careful what we say, because our words show what's in our hearts." "So we need to clean our hearts first?" Osh asked. Page 5: "Yes," Jesus said. "If we have kindness and love in our hearts, our words will be kind and loving too." "Like saying sorry when I'm wrong?" Ish asked. Page 6: "Exactly," XL smiled. "And complimenting Osh on his drawings?" "Even if they look like scribbles?" Ish giggled. Page 7: "Everyone makes mistakes," Jesus said gently. "But it's important to learn from them and try to be better." Page 8: "So, washing our hands is still important?" Osh asked, wanting to be sure. "Yes," XL chuckled, "We need clean hands and clean hearts!" Page 9: Osh and Ish thought about this. They realized that being kind and choosing kind words was just as important as washing their hands. Page 10: "From now on, I'll try to use my words to make others happy, not sad," Osh declared. Page 11: "Me too!" Ish chimed in. "Let's spread kindness, not germs!" They all laughed. Page 12: As they continued on their journey, Osh and Ish remembered Jesus' lesson. They learned that true cleanliness came from within, and that their words had the power to hurt or to heal.

This book if for my Gigi, I miss her everyday. Although she is not with me, in my life she stays. I carry her around with love inside my heart. In this way my Gigi we will never be apart.

Dia suka membantu haiwan lain dan sentiasa mencari cara untuk menyelesaikan masalah dengan akalnya. Suatu hari, seekor beruang bernama Gomo datang ke tengah hutan sambil mengeluh. “Aku lapar! Aku mahu makan madu, tetapi lebah-lebah di sarang itu sangat marah bila aku cuba mengambil madu mereka,” kata Gomo sambil mengusap perutnya yang berbunyi. Lilo tersenyum dan berkata, “Jangan risau, Gomo. Aku ada cara yang lebih baik untuk mendapatkan madu tanpa membuat lebah marah.” Lilo memanjat pokok tinggi di mana sarang lebah tergantung. Dengan berhati-hati, dia mengambil sehelai daun lebar dan mencelupkannya ke dalam sungai. Kemudian, dia mengibaskan daun basah itu ke arah sarang lebah. Udara sejuk yang terhasil membuat lebah berasa seperti hujan akan turun, lalu mereka segera terbang meninggalkan sarang untuk mencari tempat berlindung. “Cepat, Gomo! Ambillah sedikit madu, tetapi jangan rosakkan sarang mereka,” kata Lilo. Gomo segera menjilat madu yang melekat di bahagian luar sarang, tanpa mengganggu tempat tinggal lebah. Apabila lebah kembali, mereka tidak marah kerana sarang mereka masih utuh. Sejak hari itu, Gomo belajar bahawa mengambil sesuatu dengan bijak lebih baik daripada menggunakan kekuatan semata-mata. Lilo pula terus dikenali sebagai tupai yang bijak dan selalu membantu rakan-rakannya.
