deux petites filles s'enfoncent dans la foret, envoyée par leur mere pour aller cueillir des fraises pour la tarte qu'elle est en train de préparer. elle finissent par voir une vieille petite cabane avec de la fumée qui sort par la cheminée. la plus grande dahlia veut passer son chemin, la plus petite mya tres téméraire, veut absolument voir s'il y a quelqu'un dedans. elles se chamaillent à ce sujet quand tout a coup la porte s'ouvre dans un grincement. mais tjrs personne. il fait noir a l'intérieur. mais mya veut entrer et dahlia non. mya court et entre, dahlia a peur pour elle et la suit. a l'intérieur, une vieille dame au nez crochu et au chapeau de sorcière est en train de faire bouillir de l'eau sur la marmite sur le feu. elle dit bonjour aux filles et demandes si elles sont perdues, et si elles ont faim. dahlia dit non et non, mya dit oui et oui, au grand désespoir de dahlia. la sorcière sourit et dit que ca tombe bien, qu'elle prépare une bonne soupe. 10 fois, elle demande alors aux filles si elles aiment tel ou tel ingrédient. lorsque elle commence sa phrase on dirait qu'elle parle d'un ingrédient délicieux, et Mya crie OUI j'adore ! et Dahlia dit non. par exemple la sorcière demande si elles aiment le caramel MOU .... (ici mya dit OUI Dahlia dit NON) puis la sorcière termine : CHES grillées ! (= mouches grillées). pareil avec les "vers gluants" et 8 autres du meme genre. a la fin, la sorcière verse un grand bol de soupe et demande laquelle en veut. sans attendre de réponse elle se dirige vers mya car elle est persuadé qu'elle va dire OUI. Mais non mya dit NON, finalement je n'aime pas les mouches grillées, ni les vers gluants, ni les .... (tous les 10). et puis surtout, NON je mangerais jamais quelque chose que me donne un inconnu, encore moins une sorcière dans les bois. et les filles s'enfuient en riant.

Brandon shared stories with Barkley about their new house. It has a pool and a big back yard for them to play. Barkley was sad, he was going to miss all his neighborhood friends. He wondered if he would have any new friends at his new house. What if Brandon made new friends? What if the house was too small and there was no room for a puppy? Tomorrow was moving day and a new chapter for the family. Dad, mom, Brandon and Barkley jumped in the car and headed to the new house. The moving truck was right behind. As they pulled into the new neighborhood Barkley's eyes got big, it was a big house! Brandon and Barkley jumped out of the car as soon as dad pull into the driveway. One sunny morning, Finn, Benny, Sophie, and Toby played near a big tree. Suddenly, they found an old map under some rocks. “It’s a treasure map!” shouted Benny. The map showed a path to treasure in the Desert of Dunes. “Let’s find it!” said Sophie. And so, their adventure began. Scene 1 As they prepared, Benny teased Toby. “You’re too slow for the desert,” he said. “The sun will set before you reach the first dune!” added Sophie, laughing. Toby smiled. “I’ll still do my best,” he said. Each friend had a job: Finn led the way, Benny searched for water, Sophie climbed dunes to check the path, and Toby read the map for clues. Scene 2 The friends entered the hot desert. Benny, Finn, and Sophie ran ahead while Toby walked slowly. Suddenly, the three stepped into soft, sinking sand. “It’s quicksand!” shouted Sophie, as they tried to escape but got stuck. Scene 3 Toby saw his friends in trouble and found a strong stick nearby. “Hold on!” Toby shouted as he reached the edge of the quicksand. He used the stick to pull them out, one by one. “Thank you, Toby!” said Finn. “You saved us!” Scene 4 After the quicksand, the friends worked as a team. Toby read the map, Sophie climbed dunes to guide the way, and Benny and Finn carried supplies. Together, they followed the clues carefully. Scene 5 Finally, they found the treasure chest just as the sun was setting. Its golden glow sparkled in the soft light. “We made it!” shouted Benny. Scene 6 Inside the chest, they found shiny gems and a note that said: Treasure is found when friends work together. “We couldn’t have done it without each other,” said Finn. Scene 7 “We all helped in our own way,” said Toby with a proud smile. From that day on, the friends knew that teamwork was the greatest treasure of all.
