Clocky, the curious little clock, had a messy bedroom. His books were scattered on the floor, his clothes were strewn across the bed, and his toys were all over the place. It was a sight that made Clocky's gears spin with frustration. One day, Clocky's friend Ticktock came over to play. As soon as Ticktock saw the cluttered bedroom, he wrinkled his hands and said, "Clocky, your room is a mess! How can you find anything in here?" Clocky looked around sheepishly, realizing that Ticktock was right. He had been careless and had not taken good care of his belongings. "You're right, Ticktock. My room is a disaster. I can't even find my favorite toy," he admitted.

In a small German town, Luzia spoke Hornjoserbšćina (Upper Sorbian) and loved her culture. She greeted her family, "Dobre rano, mama! After school, she played in the luga (meadow), singing Sorbian songs. At home, she helped her babka make knedliki (dumplings) and listened to her děda's tales. She whispered "Dobru noc, swět" (Good night, world) each night, dreaming of preserving her culture. One favorite poem was "Serbska Róža" (The Sorbian Rose). Luzia hoped for a future where everyone knew her language. As long as she spoke Upper Sorbian, it would live on.

Ding Dong! She jumped on a cloud, but the wind blew her back down. A Magical Idea Luna had an idea! She picked up her kite and tied the star to its tail. She ran as fast as she could. The kite rose, higher and higher, until—whoosh!—the star flew back into the sky. The Happy Ending The star twinkled. “Thank you, Luna!” The sky shone bright again. Luna waved and whispered, “Goodnight, little star.”

1. It was July 4th and John Jr and Yuēhàn were excited about that evenings festivities. Yuēhàn was curious as to why there was a holiday, so John Jr went and did a little research. 2. John Jr found out about a very important document called the Declaration of Independence and explained to Yuēhàn a little history on it. John Jr explained that America was involved in a Revolutionary War. The Declaration of Independence is the founding document of the United States. On July 4, 1776, it was adopted unanimously by the 56 delegates to the Second Continental Congress, who convened at the Pennsylvania State House, later renamed Independence Hall, in the colonial era capital of Philadelphia. The Committee of Five, including John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Robert R. Livingston, and Roger Sherman, were the ones who had the most influential input into authoring the document. Thomas Jefferson actually wrote the original document the Second Continental Congress then did the editing. The signers of the Declaration of Independence are the nation's Founding Fathers. 3. John Jr explained how the Declaration explains to the world why the Thirteen Colonies regarded themselves as independent states no longer subject to British colonial rule. The Declaration justified the independence of the United States by listing 27 colonial grievances against King George III and by asserting certain natural and legal rights, including a right of revolution. 5. John Jr told Yuēhàn that The Declaration of Independence has proven an impactful statement on human rights, particularly its second sentence: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." 6. Later that day, John Jr and Yuēhàn began their Independence Day celebrations with a family picnic. They night ended with a spectacular fireworks display.

Beebee is a small fluffy white Maltese. He loves to dance on his hind legs and swing his tail around like a chopper. One day he was chasing butterflies in the driveway and got hit by a visitor's car. His mom rushed him to the vet, where he had to get surgery on his hind legs and his tail was amputated. After a long recovery, with lots of love and support, his mom encouraged him to dance again.

He has a white, smoky beard and wears a pair of tinted goggles. Professor Pulley Fumé is always tinkering with new contraptions in his workshop, which is filled with pulleys, gears, and a mysterious smoky haze. One day the palace is visited by Monsieur Terrain: a wise, white-haired cartographer who creates detailed maps of the kingdom's vineyards for Queen Sovereign Blanc. He wears a white explorer's hat and carries a compass. Monsieur Terrain shows Sovereign Blanc a map of the kingdom and tells her he has found some good spots good for planting new vineyards. Sovereign Blanc asks Sincere of Sancerre to ride out on his white horse to see the new territory and report back. Before Sincere of Sancerre rides off, Professor Pulley Fumé gives him a gadget that will help him navigate more easily in the dark.
