Granny explained that "Keeping it real" was when you try to Be True to Yourself, have Self-Awareness., Show Vulnerability, Admit Mistakes, Build Genuine Relationships, Practice Integrity, Value Others. By Being Non-Judgmental..John Jr and Jade started to be more authentic or real in their everyday life. 3. John Jr and Jade was going to self reflecti each night and be more acceptable of themselves to be more authentic in life.

I am Luca. I am four years old, and I just started Kindy. It is exciting, but also a little bit scary. There are so many new things—new teachers, new friends, and a big new playground! Every morning, my grown-up walks me to the Kindy room. Some days, I feel happy. Other days, I feel nervous and want to stay longer. When I feel worried, my tummy feels funny, and I want to cry. Mrs. Kubicek showed me the Zones of Regulation chart. She told me feeling worried is the blue zone, and that it is okay. To feel better, I can take deep breaths, press my hug button, or give a big hug before saying, “See you later!” When I miss my family, I remember that they love me always, and I will see them again soon when I get home. This helps me feel safe. When I get to the Kindy room, I put my bag, crunch and sip, and water bottle in their places. This helps me get ready for the day. Before Kindy starts, I can play with the trucks and puzzles. Sometimes, I do this with Mum or Dad before they say goodbye. That helps me feel braver. Recess and Lunch At recess, all the children go outside to eat and play. I feel nervous and stay near the wall. Mrs. Kubicek notices and says, “Luca, would you like to sit with Milani and Bodhi?” I nod. Milani and Bodhi smile and say, “Come sit with us!” That makes me feel good inside. I move into the green zone—calm and happy! Sometimes, I want to stay with Mrs. Kubicek at recess and lunch. But when she leaves, I feel sad. She reminds me that it is important to play with my friends. I take a deep breath, press my hug button, and find Milani and Bodhi. Once I start playing, I feel much better! At the end of the day, I pack my bag and sit on the mat. When I see my grown-up waiting, I run to give them a big hug. “How was your day?” they ask.I smile and say, “I played with Milani and Bodhi.” Each day, I feel a little braver. If I feel nervous, I can take deep breaths, press my hug button, or ask for help. Kindy is full of adventures, and I am ready for them all!

Benny the bunny loved playing in the meadow with his bright red balloon. He would toss it in the air, chase it through the grass, and watch it float above the flowers. But one windy afternoon, a big gust carried Benny’s balloon high into the sky and far, far away. “Oh no! My balloon!” Benny cried, hopping after it. He searched near the big oak tree, around the sparkling pond, and even under the berry bushes, but the balloon was nowhere to be found. Just as he was about to give up, his friend Mia the mouse scurried over. “What’s wrong, Benny?” she asked. “My balloon is gone,” Benny sighed. “I’ll never find it.” Mia thought for a moment and then squeaked, “Let’s look together!” So Benny and Mia searched side by side. Along the way, they met Ollie the owl. “I saw something red floating toward the hill,” Ollie hooted. “Maybe that’s your balloon!” Benny’s ears perked up. “Come on, let’s go!” They ran toward the hill and found Finn the fox watching something bob in the branches of a tall tree. “Is that your balloon?” Finn asked, pointing with his fluffy tail. Benny’s eyes lit up. “It is!” But the tree was too tall for Benny, Mia, or Finn to climb. Just then, Ollie flapped his strong wings and flew up to the highest branch. Carefully, he nudged the balloon free, and it floated gently down into Benny’s paws. “Thank you, everyone!” Benny beamed. “I thought I lost my balloon, but I found something even better—friends who help each other!” Mia, Ollie, and Finn all smiled. A bunny loves to play with all his bunny friends. He would play all kinds of games with his friends. But he sometimes feels that he needs to win all the time when playing. He would get angry when he does not win and not behave nicely with his friends. He needs to learn how to have fun at playing, while winning or losing is not important.

A continuation from my first book "Angels Among Us" about my son; Caleb, who developed Asperger's Syndrome and was being bullied in school. The book and his story was created to help teachers and fellow students understand the world they live in and why they are so different from their peers.
